Tickets Since 1990
Hutchinson River Parkway, up to 684 – I 287 & I 84 Crossing
Cars only are allowed on the Hutchinson, from the Bronx, New York line up to I-287, where I 684 begins and connects with I 84. Speedlaw will help with any Hutchinson Parkway traffic ticket to I 684 and beyond.
The Hutchinson Parkway is yet another of the charming 1930s parkways in New York, where trucks are never allowed and the road is two lanes with no real medians. This road is too small for today’s traffic, so traffic is tight. The Westchester County Police patrol this between the Bronx and White Plains, and New York State Police Troop K beyond I 287. Tradesmen often run afowl of the County Police, who do their level best to keep Commercial Vehicles off the Parkway, or any vehicle which MIGHT be commercial. These tickets often end up in the Mount Vernon City Court. Also, for buses, your New York City Parkway permit does NOT work north of the Bronx line. Trust us.

Once this road crosses I 287, it becomes an eight lane interstate, with huge medians and great sight lines. Troop K uses laser at a distance and radar close up. We’ve seen some high speeds on this road, and the Courts vary quite a bit as to results…..you pass through the corner of Connecticut here but can’t get on or off in Connecticut, and all tickets written are still prosecuted in New York.
